Throughout nursing school, we have always been told that we need to be able to care for ourselves to be able to care for our patients. Doing this project and actually looking at the research done on nurse burnout related to their own care was very interesting! It was cool to look at what methods helped more than others and which factors contributed the most. Trying to decide on the method of delivery for this, we decided on a poster with a QR code for quick and easy access. Nurses are very busy, as we know, and often their only time to pause is when they can take a bathroom break or a lunch break. So we decided to put our posters up in the bathrooms and break rooms instead of doing a presentation that would only take more of their time. Unfortunately, we haven’t had enough time to be able to get the feedback we need on this project but we hope that nurses will still be able to look at our poster and use our methods in their own life.
